New Moon in Pisces

You may wonder why I make a big deal about the New Moon and Full Moon phases. It is because I feel it is important to honor these celestial events that will enhance our lives in some manner. On February 26th we will have a New Moon which means that as you look up into the sky there is no visible moon present. It falls in the astrological sign of Pisces so it is all about water and being fluid and flexible.

Piscean New Moons call for self-exploration an opportunity to delve inward and see what makes us tick. A good time to examine the beliefs we hold dear. Which ones are serving us? Which ones should we let go? This can be an emotional experience but it doesn’t have to be painful. Looking into the self can be enlightening and motivating giving us the opportunity to forge ahead with things we may be procrastinating on.

Sleep may be a bit illusive as your creativity is kicked into high gear. It would be a good idea to keep a journal by your bed and if you wake in the wee hours of the morning with a great idea write it down. Also take this opportunity to keep track of your dreams. These too could give  you significant insights into what is going on.

As Marianne Williamson said:
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” This Piscean New Moon reminds us that there is no more playing small in our lives.

To max this energy even further there is an Annular Solar Eclipse. An Annular Solar Eclipse is where the Sun appears behind the Moon as a bright ring of light called an annulus looking like a ring of fire around the dark disk of the Moon. Observing from the Earth, the moon will cover approximately 99% of the Sun.

We have all the players then converging to create quite a burst of energy. The Moon which represents our past, unconscious, emotions, and feelings.  The Sun which connects with our identity, self-esteem, creative expression and Pisces which is connected with water, our psychic abilities, our dreams and our creativity.

On February 21 on The Night Shift at 7:00 PM  we will explore all of this and what it means to you. How can you best utilize this energy? What are some tools you can use to harness it? Mini readings throughout the show as well.

SoulMate Search

I am looking forward to broadcasting live on Valentine’s Day although I know many of you may be out celebrating with your Sweetie. That being said there are plenty of others out there that are still looking for Mr. or Ms. Right. You may be familiar with the word “soulmate” and I personally think it is one of those overused words and ideas. What is a soulmate exactly? Most people tend to think it is the one right person that comes into our lives and makes our hearts leap and toes curl. There can also be the miss guided notion that each one of us has only one soulmate. In my opinion there are all different types of soulmates and they could be friends, ex’s and even people we feel have done us wrong. They come into our lives to teach us something, the good, the bad and sometimes the ugly. So when I am doing a reading for someone and they ask me “When am I going to meet my soulmate?”  I ask some questions to get clarity on exactly what they are looking for. I often find that they are looking for someone to share their lives with in a meaningful way and this is a good reason. Where things get off track is if their expectations are such that they expect this person coming in to be like a combination of Superman and the Dali Lama rolled into one who is going to fix all the problems of their life and create a happily ever after scenario. Gently I guide them to the idea that it may be a good time to fix and fulfill some of their own desires and look for someone who will balance things out.

Another falsehood I have pointed out is that there is not one perfect person for each of us. There are many, each with strengths and weaknesses that will blend well with ours to create a relationship that is a give and take on both sides. If the love of your life has left that does not mean that there is not another one out there that may not be the same but will be just as good.

One of the things I recommend is to do a vision board of what you would like in a perfect match. You can use physical appearance but also I suggest using emotional and mental traits you would like to see as well such as kindness, compassion and generosity. Take your time with this. Set the intention and then wait for the magic to happen. I have heard many positive stories of this method working.

Join me, Susan Dintino on Tuesday, February 14th on The Night Shift at 7:00 PM Eastern and I will be doing romance readings throughout the show. We will talk soulmates and give some pointers on how to find him or her.

Happy Chinese New Year! Welcome to the Fire Rooster!

Happy Chinese New Year 2017 ! This is the The Year of the Fire Rooster. The new year has begun and will last until Feb 15, 2018.  Also known as the Spring Festival, the new year date changes from year to year. Each Chinese New Year is characterized by one of 12 animals which appear in the Chinese zodiac. This year is the year of the Rooster. What makes this so interesting is that the Rooster tells us to step out of our comfort zone and begin exciting new projects. It is all about timing and striking when the iron is hot. Keeping our eyes open for new opportunities and taking that all important leap of faith.

In relationships, the rooster will bring in new relationships or take old ones to new heights. Since 2017 is a #1 year all about beginnings, this Chinese New Year of the Rooster is really amping  the energy. Release the old… embrace the new… and let out a big cock a doodle do. This is our year to ignite the fire in all areas of our lives!

Tuesday, January 31st at 7:00 PM Eastern Time on The Night Shift I will take about this energy and how we can walk over the coals. Mini readings too!!! Join us in the Facebook chat: https://www.facebook.com/groups/183716975330317/
