Dress for Success with expert, Karen Hudson on The Nancy Ferrari Show

The Nancy Ferrari Show airs live, December 16th, 9:00 am PT/12:00 pm ET and features special guest, Karen Hudson, who has worked for thirty years as a Costume Designer and Supervisor in television, film, theatre, opera, and print.  Her claim to fame is that her name appears on every episode of Hill Street Blues as the Women’s Key Costumer.  She has worked with celebrities, including Julie Andrews, Dennis Franz, Matt Le Blanc, Kaley Cuoco and Betty White.

Karen has a BFA in Art from Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas and an MFA in Costume Design and Directing from The University of Texas at Austin.

For twenty years Karen has conducted Resume Preparation and Interviewing Technique Seminars in the film industry, at the University level and in business.  Her interview techniques have been heard by job seekers of all ages who work in a broad range of professions.

Since retiring from the film industry Karen has taught “Costuming for Film and TV” and “Ace the Interview / Dress to Win”.  She is published in the “Toastmaster Magazine”, “You are What You Wear, Who Am I Now” and is a contributing author of the book, “Heart of a Woman in Business” by Sheryl Roush.  She also provides invaluable tips in her book “Dressed to Speak: Live and in the Media”.
