She’s always had a twinkle in her eye and sparkle in smile. She really is sugar, spice and everything nice, and we’re delighted to have Sherry Yard on our show October 4. There’s always room for dessert at the table where Sherry’s working. Her original desserts have earned her honors and have been staples at entertainment industry awards events. A multi-James Beard Foundation Awards winner herself for her work as both pastry chef and cookbook author, Sherry began her culinary career at Rainbow Room before heading to Hollywood where a Pastry Star was born.
After nearly twenty years working as the Executive Partner within Wolfgang Puck’s empire and becoming a sought after commentator and judge on numerous food television shows, Sherry has written her new chapter. She’s Chief Operating Officer for the restaurant division of Tuck Hospitality Group, a division of iPic Entertainment and proprietor of The Helms Bakery in Los Angeles. The Tuck Room in NYC is tucked away in the South Street Seaport and worth a visit to savor Sherry’s menu and sweet treats as well as Bar Wiz Adam Seger‘s inventive cocktails. Sherry also oversees independent restaurants and bars The Tuck Room Tavern in Westwood and City Perch Kitchen + Bar with locations in Fort Lee and Dobbs Ferry.
