Many of us are all too happy to say goodbye to 2016. It has been quite a year and as we approach 2017 it is a good time to Review and Renew as I like to say. The Review part is taking a look at 2016 and what the year brought you in all areas of your life. Were there lessons that were learned that were beneficial? How are your relationships going? Your career? Your location? Are they working for you? I am not a big fan of resolutions but I believe strongly in looking at all these areas and deciding what you want to keep and what you would like to discard. That is the Review part and I think prior to that Happy New Year welcoming in 2017 it is time well spent to look at how 2016 worked for you. A good time to visit these questions in meditation maybe a bit of journaling as well. Set aside some quality time to explore this.
Now we come to the Renew part. Numerology defined by Wikipedia is: any belief in the divine, mystical relationship between a number and one or more coinciding events. It is also the study of the numerical value of the letters in words, names and ideas. It is often associated with the paranormal, alongside astrology and similar divinatory arts. Simply put it is the study of numbers and how they effect your life. For instance 2017 when broken down as you would do in numerology is a number 1. What this means is that it is a year for new beginnings. Taking risks and making changes that you may have been putting on the back burner. This year is significant because its vibration is beckoning us to step out of our comfort zone and explore where our lives may be lived in a happier more satisfying way.
The number 1 also encourages us to assume leadership roles. Maybe there is a situation you find yourself in that you have been stepping back from. This year would be the year to move forward in a big way. Your unique personality full of the gifts that you bring to the world can be a huge asset this year. Take charge…move forward…the number 1 is in your favor!
