My name is Frank Briggs; I am a Point of Light and a Beacon of Hope.

I am 55 years old and I live in Post Falls, Idaho, I am married to Ruth my wife of almost 31 years. I am a father of two: my oldest is my daughter Blythe who is currently serving our country in the US Army stationed in Germany. My youngest Austin is a college student at North Idaho College in Coeur d’ Alene Idaho. As a youngster and young adult I endured countless barrages of critisism but always tried to find the good in things and people. I have always had a passion for how I can boost someone else up even when I sometimes get left behind. I never fully understood that until I read a quote from – Bill Gates – “The true measure of your life is not how well you live, but how well others live because of you.” In our lives we endure many hardships, heartaches and setbacks: I know, I have been there: but I have never given up. I firmly believe that given the right chance we can all break the chains of hardship and find the true light at the end of the tunnel. I now know that I have been choosen to share this inspiration with the world. It is very simple: One candle flickers, two candles illuminate, three candles glow, but a million candles shine. Being a member of the Point of Light Network will allow me the chance to light those candles and illuminate the world.
