While it’s undoubtedly true there’s some age bias out there, what Laura Schlafly and Susan Rich discussed was how you – yes you, the over-50 job seeker – might be sabotaging yourself in the interview, and here’s how:

Do you make assumptions about the interviewer? Let’s say this kid, er manager, er potential BOSS is young enough to be your son or daughter. Does that bother you? Does it make you feel awkward or angry to be “asking” for something as vital as a job from someone half your age?
