Patricia is an award winning author, entrepreneur, business leader, educator and motivator/mentor of women writers.
Patricia created the highly successful Scottsdale Society of Women Writers almost ten years ago and continues to serve as its president. She brings in professional speakers each month to their dinner meetings and maintains critique groups for her members.
She attends national writing conferences each year and talks locally on writing, publishing and marketing related topics. This gives her a wide perspective on the industry.
As founder of Brooks Goldmann Publishing Company, LLC, Patricia serves as a book shepherd and a publishing consultant. Her mission is to enhance the spirit of the author’s journey. More than two dozen authors have benefited from her attention.
Patricia is currently preparing to launch her second memoir entitled Three Husbands and a Thousand Boyfriends – due out in fall 2015. She converses regularly on a topic she relates passionately to her work: Stop the Violence against Women.
Her first memoir (now established in second edition print copy and in eBook) is entitled Gifts of Sisterhood – journey from grief to gratitude. She is asked often to present with this book on both writing memoir and dealing with grief. Patricia earned a prestigious Arizona Authors Association Literary Contest Non-fiction award for this work.
